Hi Stargazers!

The preorder store is now open! If you missed out during the campaign, this will be the last time you can get this collection at campaign prices.

Unlock more pins!

You can also unlock two more pins by preordering: alternative designs for Aquila and Pisces! During the campaign you got to vote for you favourite designs, but I want to give you the chance to unlock both the fish and the owl design now, because the polls really were very close!
How to unlock:
Both Preorders and Backers can help unlock the designs! Add the listing to your cart and check out as usual. If you are a backer, you get access to all the add-ons again through the survey, including the listings for the owl and fish pin.

If we reach 25 preorders for a design, it will be created - and if we don’t, the item will be cancelled and you get your money back. Basically, it’s a tiny crowdfunding campaign!  If you’ve backed the campaign, please do not preorder through the store: you’ll pay for shipping twice. If you want to add more to your pledge, you can do that with the survey.

Hi Stargazers!

The campaign has successfully concluded and I’ve been hard at work finalising the designs and creating the pledgemanager. Thank you all for your support. Together we unlocked all designs and add-ons! This is just a small heads-up that surveys will be going out at the end of the week. Read on to learn more.

Failed Payments

As of right now, about 1,200€ in pledges have failed, which is a bit more than 10% of our total funding. If you haven’t yet found a charge from Backerkit on your credit statement, I urge you to check and update your payment details. You have until the end of the week to update your details.

Funds from the campaign are released to me next week, which means we can move on into the next stage of the campaign: the Surveys!

Surveys

Rewards will be coordinated using the Backerkit Survey. Expect the surveys by the end of this week. This is the point where you choose your designs.
Surveys will close March 11th, but the sooner you complete the survey, the sooner I can order the pins, so try to complete it asap.

You will also confirm your shipping costs during the survey. If applicable, you will also be charged VAT (UK) or tariffs (15%, US). However, I will only charge your cards shortly before shipping, in case a cheaper shipping option becomes available again for the US or the tariffs are lowered (based on the Supreme Court ruling).

US Customers: Please note you will be charged for the current tariff level (15%). If the tariffs are lowered based on the supreme court ruling, I will reimburse you the difference. If a cheaper shipping option becomes available I will also reimburse you. If tariffs are increased (because of the annoying orange), you will not be charged more than 15%.

 I will be charging your cards a week before shipping your orders, so you will receive the most accurate rates.

Preorder Store

The preorder store opens at the end of the week! If you didn’t get a chance to pledge during the campaign this will be the last chance to get these pins at a discounted price. The preorder store will close on March 11th.
If you are a campaign backer, do not order from the preoder store - you’d be paying for shipping twice. You can add more items to your order during the survey.
US Customers: You will be charged for tariffs and shipping when you preorder. If a cheaper option becomes available or tariffs are lowered, I’ll reimburse you!

💫24 hours remain, Stretchgoal unlocked + Trivia Freebie!

Hi stargazers,

That’s right, 3 weeks flew past and Pintopia is nearly over. In just over 24 hours the project will end and amazingly we finally unlocked the last stretchgoal: a handmade colouring book!

Just like the colouring book for my last project, this one will be handmade in my studio, feature about 14-16 colouring pages along with a TON of fun facts - I just love to yap. It is available with paper suitable for alcohol markers or mixed media, and as a big THANK YOU, all books purchased during the campaign will be hardcover for the price of a softcover!

Add it to your pledge now or during the pledgemanager, where you will also be able to choose paper type.



And speaking of fun facts, I hope you enjoyed the trivia challenge! The last question is up now, find it attached below.

Both Coop-Pins for EU Pledges now possible!

Hi EU-based Stargazers!

I think we manifested it: You can now get pins from Arcane Moon (Zodiac Goddesses)! That means you can now also get both collab pins. Here ist how it works: 

  1. Pledge to the EU/UK Placeholder tier - don’t add anything else. (This will count towards shipping)
  2. Add the Etsy listing to your cart and check out - this will include the sales tax and shipping!
    1. Make sure to add a note that you backed both projects
    2. Carefully read the Etsy listing, it gives you all the info you need
  3. You are done! Just like regular backers you’ll be able to choose your pin through the survey after the campaign

If you are unsure about pledging through Etsy or if pledging to a pin is not financially possible for you, you can remain in the EU-Sticker tier (as outlined in my last update) to receive my collab pin and Arcane Moon’s collab sticker.

💫 New Pins Showcase and 2 Add-Ons unlocked!

Hi Stargazers!
We are halfway through the campaign and have unlocked some really exciting things. I also have some great news for EU-Backers regarding my collab project "Zodiac Goddesses" - you can finally pledge to it!!

All pins unlocked

All 20 pin designs have now been unlocked. The last ones to join us were Aquila, Aquarius, Scorpio and Sagittarius. Take a look!
You have to help me though, because I have a hard time deciding how to colour Sagittarius. I want it to be distinct from Monoceros, so no blues. Please vote for your favourite design in the poll at the end of the post!


Collab Update for EU Pledges!

My collab partner "Zodiac Goddesses" by Arcane Moon has figured out a way to offer limited shipping to the EU and UK, that means EU-customers can now finally back both projects! This news comes with a caveat though. While you will definitely receive my collab pin, you will only receive the collab sticker from the Zodiac Goddesses project. We are trying to find a way to work with our manufacturers to figure something out, but we can’t guarantee anything.

New Add-Ons 

Along with the last four pin designs we also unlocked two new add-ons - maybe they’ll push us over the last stretchgoal! 
The Celestial Companions Stamp washi tape is one of my all time favourite products. Thanks to you I can now not only restock it, but give it a visual update at the same time! The new tape will feature 10 illustrations of the celestial companions, updated to match the new look.

2. Celestial Companions Zine

Have you ever made a Zine? I think it such a cool idea! Basically you divide a sheet of paper into 16 boxes you can illustrate and then with just three strategic cuts and some smart paperfolding BOOM - a tiny little magazine (hence the name). It looks so fun, and I am really enjoying planning out the zine and deciding which fun facts will go into it. I’ll be posting the progress here, but you can already add the zine to your pledge.

And even better: If you add the zine to your pledge, you also receive a digital download of the zine as a colouring page! This is exclusive to backers of the project. Colour in the celestial companions in your favourite colours and learn how to fold a zine. Maybe it’ll inspired you to create your own zine!


 New Stretchgoals?

Only one last planned stretch goal remains: the colouring book! I made one for my last campaign as well and you can check it out here: LINK. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a second one in the series? I certainly would LOVE to illustrate all the colouring pages!

I don’t want to be too optimistic, but if we do unlock the colouring book, we could even think about other stretchgoals. Is there anything you’d like to see? Tell me!

Here are some things I am considering:

  • Pin alternates: the fish design for pisces or a raven/owl design for Aquila maybe?
  • More Pins: we are still missing a few not-animal-based zodiacs, like gemini and virgo.
  • Prints and Postcards: Maybe you’d like to decorate the wall around your pin banner, would you want postcards, prints or posters? If so what size?
  • Keychains: In the original collection I turned leo, vulepcula and ursa minor into acrylic keychains. Would you like to see that again as an add-on?
